Coronavirus cancels Mumbai Int’l filmfest

The 2020 Mumbai International Film Festival for Documentary, Short and Animation Films (MIFF) has been cancelled over the coronavirus outbreak.

The 22nd edition of the Indian event was supposed to be launched in November; however, its organizers have called it off, claiming that it is their responsibility to observe the health protocols.

The director of the festival told the media that they have decided to put health above everything else. Instead, next year’s edition of the event will be held magnificently.

Launched in 1990, the MIFF focuses on documentary, short fiction and animation films.
